Terms and conditions of use

The present general conditions of sale govern all relations between MAYETTE MAGIE and its customers.

Prior to any transaction, the buyer acknowledges having read them and expressly declares that he/she accepts them when he/she clicks on the "Validate" button.

The buyer acknowledges having read, at the time of the transmission of the order, the particular conditions of sale stated on the screen: name, price, quantity, particularities of the articles or products, costs of the services. The placing of the order and its confirmation by the customer, materializes its full acceptance of the particular conditions of sale, only applicable to the order.

MAYETTE MAGIE informs its clients that the conditions of use communicated are for information purposes only. Thus, MAYETTE MAGIE is not responsible for any erroneous or misinterpreted technical information or for any inappropriate use.

The photographs or drawings illustrating the articles or products are not part of the contractual field. If errors are made, MAYETTE MAGIE cannot be held responsible. MAYETTE MAGIE cannot be held responsible for the texts accompanying these photographs.

At the time of the first order, in order to personalize the environment of each customer, a login and a password must be entered by the latter. A control of uniqueness of the identifier is carried out by the system. In case of loss of the password, the customer clicks on the line "I lost my password" and the system automatically sends it back by e-mail.

The password is not used in any case to make any payment.

The client places an order by clicking on the "order" button on the "order form" page. MAYETTE MAGIE's automatic recording systems are considered as proof of the nature, content and date of the order.

MAYETTE MAGIE confirms the acceptance of the order to the client by e-mail. The sale will not be concluded until MAYETTE MAGIE has confirmed the order.

MAYETTE MAGIE reserves the right not to confirm an order for any reason whatsoever, particularly with regard to the supply of products, problems concerning the order received (e.g. illegible document), an abnormal order or a foreseeable problem concerning the delivery to be made. MAYETTE MAGIE will inform the client by any means.

Any new order can only be placed after full and regular payment by the client of the sums due for his previous orders.

Delivery time: it is that of the longest article to provide, except agreement of your share for a split delivery.

Shipping costs:

The shipping costs are indicated in the order form and depend on the geographical area to be delivered.

The customer commits himself taking charge of the goods at the address carried by his care on the purchase order. He must check the condition of the packages upon delivery and mention on the transport order the usual reservations in case of deterioration of the packaging or missing items, and confirm these to the carrier by registered letter within a maximum of 3 days (Article 105 of the Commercial Code). By signing the delivery note, the customer acknowledges having received the number of packages indicated on the latter.

Any complaint about the non-conformity of the items making up an order must be brought to the attention of MAYETTE MAGIE within 3 working days following receipt of the order by e-mail or letter. Beyond this period, no claim will be accepted.

The client may request reimbursement of the sums paid if MAYETTE MAGIE is unable to provide an article or product of equivalent price and quality to that of the order. MAYETTE MAGIE undertakes to reimburse the client within 15 days of receipt of the written request by e-mail, fax or letter.

All events of any nature whatsoever, beyond the control of MAYETTE MAGIE such as force majeure, disaster, strike, administrative decision, transport stoppage, acts of war or attack, which would tend to delay, prevent or render exorbitant the execution of the supply, constitute, by express agreement, a cause for suspension or extinction of the obligations of MAYETTE MAGIE at its discretion, without compensation to the client if this event continues beyond 30 days.

In the event of incorrect information being provided by the client when the order form is drawn up or in the event of incorrectly worded address details of the recipient, MAYETTE MAGIE shall not be held responsible for the impossibility of delivering the order.

Our prices are subject to revision without notice and in particular in the event of variations in economic conditions. The V.A.T. is at the current rate of 20% for items sold on French territory.

The price invoiced to the client is the price indicated on the order confirmation sent by MAYETTE MAGIE.

The amount of the order must be at least 12 euros. Any order lower than 12 euros including VAT will not be processed. Credit card processing is guaranteed by the use of the "e-transaction" security system of our banking partner, the Crédit Agricole, itself based on the SSL protocol. Our check payment process includes a bank information capture. To pay by check, please select and validate this type of payment, print the order form and send us by mail your check and a copy of the order form.

The customer's credit card will be debited after the order has been accepted by MAYETTE MAGIE.

MAYETTE MAGIE retains ownership of the product until full payment of the price by the customer (law of 25/01/1985).

In accordance with the law of January 6, 1988, the client has a retraction period of 7 clear days, from the date of taking charge of the goods, to return any product to MAYETTE MAGIE for exchange or reimbursement, at his/her own expense, and without penalty. In the event of exercising the right of retraction, MAYETTE MAGIE is obliged to reimburse the sums paid without charge. The refund is due within a maximum of 30 days.

For all articles, the customer benefits from the legal guarantee of the hidden defects on the sold products.

In the event of non-payment of all sums due by a client, MAYETTE MAGIE reserves the right to suspend the client's identification immediately.

For any difficulty that the client may encounter in his relations with MAYETTE MAGIE, he may send an e-mail to contact@mayette.com or a letter to MAYETTE MAGIE 8, rue des Carmes, 75005 PARIS.

MAYETTE MAGIE's nominative files are declared to the Commission Nationale Informatique et Liberté. The client has the right to access, rectify or oppose the data collected, which can be corrected by mail to MAYETTE MAGIE.

By connecting to the Internet site created by MAYETTE MAGIE, which holds all intellectual property rights relating thereto, the client is prohibited from copying or downloading all or part of its content, except with the prior and express authorization of MAYETTE MAGIE.

The present general conditions of sale are subject to French law.
