You take a red deck out of its case and spread it out in a ribbon spread face down on the table. Then you fan the cards face up so that the spectator can choose any card from the deck and sign its face before placing it back in the deck.

You say your favorite magic spell and spread the ribbon spread face down on the mat. Among the red-backed cards, a single blue-backed card appears. You take it out of the deck, turn it over, and hand it to the spectator.
