You show two decks of cards of different colors. You hand one deck to a spectator. You then make the spectator choose two cards very clearly from the other deck. The chosen cards are placed back into the deck, which is returned to its case.

The spectator holding the first deck opens it, looks for the chosen cards and places them face up on the table. The rest of the deck is spread out in a ribbon spread face down.

The chosen cards are turned over: their backs have changed color! You then take the second deck out of its case and see that the backs of the chosen cards have changed color. Everything is given to examine.
