The magician clearly shows three cards in a fan shape, face and back: there are two black cards and one red card. The red card is sandwiched between the two black cards.

You turn the fan of cards face down without any suspicious movement, and ask the spectator to take the red card. Naturally, he will take the middle card. You turn over the remaining cards in your hand to show that these are the two black cards.

But when the spectator turns over his card, it is now black!
The red card is gone!
